ARTIST BIO:

Charlotte Gautier Van Tour is a French Artist born in 1989 and living in Provence. Her research focuses on revealing invisible worlds with natural materials and interrogating the connections between the ecosystems and the self. Her interdisciplinary artistic practice questions how we are interdependant, what is Nature, how to confront our relationships with our bodies and with other non human species.  She is also interested in cosmogonies, these mythical tales which questions the origin and the evolution of the universe She thinks Art can play a role in deconstructing the dominant anthropocentric thoughts and show how much important is to consider plants, animals and all the biosphere as true subjects and not only as objects.
