ARTWORKS DESCRIPTION:
Domestic notes from an imagined future, after climate change, where humans live happy communal lives inside of giant purple oysters that cater to their every whim. 3D scans of where the ocean meets the sea from Djursland, DK 3D printed bioderived material, recycled in the Netherlands from food packaging.
ARTIST BIO:
Kristoffer Ørum is an interdisciplinary visual artist based in Copenhagen, he holds dual degrees degrees Goldsmith College and The Royal Academy of Fine art. He was a professor at the Funen Academy of Art 2012–2015 and worked as an artistic researcher at Uncertain Archives, Copenhagen University 2015–2018. His interdisciplinary practice revolves around the digital spheres and their impact on daily life. He has published, performed and exhibited internationally since 2005.
