Socks II 2018

This artwork results from the artist's real socks, which she found after a big house move. It could be seen in the Pura calle exhibition, among others. The piece speaks, through three of its socks encased in ceramics and a piece in the shape of a window grill, of the tension between the lived space and the produced space, which we can perceive in urban space and specifically in popular housing.

Socks II 2018 surge a partir de los calcetines reales de la artista, que encontró después de una gran mudanza. Pudo verse en la exposición Pura calle, entre otras. La pieza habla, a través de tres de sus calcetines metidos en cerámica y una pieza con forma de reja de ventana, de la tensión entre el espacio vivido y el espacio producido, que podemos observar en el espacio urbano y en concreto en las viviendas populares.
